Besides our IEC power cord, ShipOur.Wedding uses this PowerCon cord to charge some of our do-it-yourself uplights. We use this cord on both of our wireless uplights as well as DIY outdoor uplighting rentals. This cable features dual benefits of high current capacity in a smaller attachment point. A majority of professional lighting design companies prefer this connector style because it securely locks into place. This locking prevents any equipment from losing power from sound, vibration, or guest traffic in the area you are lighting up.
It is easy to connect & disconnect this cable from a lighting fixture. To install, line up the grooves & twist the plastic portion clockwise to lock the cable into the light. To remove the cord from the uplight, pull the latch back & then slowly twist the plastic portion counter-clockwise.
