    We originally were going to use a DJ that charges $1500 for outdoor diy uplights in our trees. Came across ship our wedding and was able to get an even better look by doing it ourselves. This only cost us $300…. crazy! This is probably the best deal we got for our wedding.

Lighting Factors

Besides programming your colors to all be the same, you can have every other uplight a different color. This means you can create a primary & secondary color. These will blend giving you a subtle tie-dye effect. The closer your colors match the better the illusion.

Easy Setup Instructions

How to setup outdoor tent uplighting for weddings & events in trees

  1. evenly space lights by placing them on the ground around tent
  2. turn your uplight power switch on (don’t need any cords unless they will be used for more than 8 hours)
  3. program your wedding colors on the uplight
  4. (optional) screw bracket between silver bolt of clamp & uplighting bracket, attach uplight with clamp to metal tent frame by tightening hook part (don’t over tighten)

Upgrades

Easily add any of these affordable upgrades to any uplighting package:

  1. rent tent LEDs for caterer tent (it will get dark & they might need light to see) recommend 4
  2. rent optional 2 inch clamp with 1/2 inch bolt to mount uplights onto tent frame above guests head (roughly 6 feet in the air). Consult with tent company first before reserving tent clamp to ensure it will fit on your tent frame. We recommend (1) tent clamp per uplight fixture.
