Dim all wall lighting & turn off as many of your venue’s overhead lighting to get the most brightness from your breakup pattern gobo. This lighting rental will give you the best result when positioned straight onto the opposite wall. We strongly encourage you to reserve a stand and plunger to help elevate your light. This give you the freedom to move the light into a better place (aim on floor, aim higher, prevents guests from walking in beam casting shadow).
Once you lower your reception halls ceiling lights, this gobo rental will make your wedding photos really stand out. If your facility has a lot of natural light due to windows then this effect will give you maximum results once the sun sets. How to setup breakup pattern gobo light to create designs on walls & ceilings at weddings and events.
With Stand and Plunger (helps elevate fixture to cover more space & control beams)
1.) Widen tripod stand by loosening the side knob and pulling the legs out to form a wider base.
2.) Once you have the legs pulled to the right width (approximately 2 feet), then you can re-tighten the bolt (don’t over tighten)
3.) Attach plunger by sliding over top of light stand (it should be a tight fit)
4.) To attach the light you unscrew the top nut, slide the lighting bracket on the screw, and screw the nut back on (sandwiches the bracket in-between the two nuts)
5.) Plug breakup pattern gobo fixture in with power cord between the fixture and outlet
6.) Fixture will automatically turn on, slide barn doors painted red from side of fixture outwards, this make the beam shine through the barrel
7.) Elevate stand if necessary and aim your breakup pattern gobo fixture in the desired position (use the side bracket to adjust the angle)
8.) Use the nobs on top of fixture to adjust the zoom and focus (might take a minute to get in best position)
Setup on Table (no stand or plunger)
1.) Plug breakup pattern gobo fixture in with power cord between the fixture and outlet
2.) Fixture will automatically turn on, slide barn doors painted red from side of fixture outwards, this make the beam shine through the barrel
3.) Place fixture either on floor table and aim your breakup pattern gobo light in the desired position (use the side bracket to adjust the angle/elevation)
4.) Use the nobs on top of fixture to adjust the zoom and focus (might take a minute to get in best position)

This light was so easy to setup. We also rented the stand to raise up the light. Our gobo breakup patterns were absolutely stunning on the walls. We used two patterns on both sides of our wall (because they looked so bare). The light literally took up the entire space so it was well worth it! My hubby and I give this 5 stars for cost, ease of use and customer service!
