Easy Setup Instructions

How to mount to a ceiling

1. determine where is a solid mounting point for the center of your ceiling draping, the cabling has to be attached to a load bearing beam which supports the roof/ceiling (this will hold over 100 lbs)
2. put on your safety goggles, put your ladder directly under this beam & drapery near your ladder, make sure your fabric can easily be pull in the air for the next step, if there is a drop ceiling tile walk up the ladder and make sure this is lifted and moved out of the way
3. grab the center of your ceiling draping (where the cabling/carabiner are) start walking up your ladder towards the load bearing beam
4. attach your cable to the beam by wrapping it around a steel beam and creating a closed loop with the carabiner (this way the fabric can hang freely with all the weight unassisted by you), cables can not be wrapped around steel conduit, electrical  wires, fire suppression lines, or anything not load bearing (this will rip out of the ceiling)
5. attach a second cable in the same manner as step 4 for backup support, once done try to push as much of the ceiling tile your just moved back into place (usually 50%)
6. once off your ladder start pulling out all the legs of fabric (just like creating bicycle spokes)
7. you will notice some fabric pieces are twisted at the top, grab pieces and go over and under fabric so it is more straight
8. depending on your room size you might want longer pieces of fabric to extend out on 2 sides of the draping (repeat step 7 with the consideration that it is not getting twisted)
9. go back through and make sure every piece of fabric has a similar amount of spacing between the next leg of fabric
10. move the ladder to the outer edge of the drapery near one of the legs of fabric on the ground
11. accordion the fabric in your hand with the top layer least amount of slack to have a nice flowy look, attach a zip-tie to the end of your fabric 90% tight, slip a pipe cleaner under the zip-tie
12. walk up your ladder & slightly lift a ceiling panel & look at the smaller beams (that hold up the ceiling tile) to determine which hole you can twist a pipe cleaner through to secure your draping, TIP if this is an open ceiling with all rafters, all your legs of fabric will attach to a metal beam
13. walk your fabric end up the ladder, hold your fabric near a drop ceiling hole you just selected, adjust fabric fullness (more or less slack in the top layer), adjust fabric height (zip tie closer to the center or closer to the fabric end), have someone at the bottom compare the fabric to help you decide if it is correct
14. once correct make the zip-tie more snug (not completely tight to where it breaks off), use the same pipe cleaner & attach to the drop ceiling hole you just selected by going through the hole and twisting the pipe cleaner end 6-8 times
15. take any excess fabric and hide it into the ceiling by carefully pushing it into the ceiling tile
16. repeat steps 10-15 for each leg of fabric
